What Boris Costantini doesn't like about Al Vecchio Forno:
restaurant with a very pleasant garden. We ate well. Good cooking. but: some very damage. First of all, we are offered the prosecco. Very good intention. except that the server in a very nonchalizing way emptys the end of a bottle so we only have half a glass each! or we'll buy you a drink or not! the wine is served with a medic. I'm not used to it. It's very mean. and it is served too hot. short lack of friendliness... View all feedback.
Excellent dinner with family, so excited about eating. we hope we can check this again
We ate with friends while we visited the toscana. the owner roberto is wonderful and eating is fantastic classic toscan.
Appetizers and first excellent. the delicate Sienese cinta ragout. great choice of wine and desserts. highly recommended.
All exquisite, excellent service, not a sin. highly recommended.
Great restaurant in the center of San Quirico, local is very nice and welcoming; upstairs there are other tables that from the street are not visible with a singular collation that is not unlike me (I leave the surprise effect service absolutely to the height, courteous but above all professional as if they find fewer. the choice of the menu is satisfying: in addition to the card you will find space also the menu of the day with dishes that is worth considering with so much of recommended wines combinations. My choices have fallen are a mixed aperitif of the valley of orcia with meats and cheeses absolutely level, accompanied by breads and grissini made by them. for the first of obligation the pici, preferably to the aglione that I found better than those to the ragù of chianina. on the very good seconds to paper the fillet of cinta with apples and a mustard-based sauce but on the menu of the day was proposed a lamb with herbs of the val d'orcia that was really the end of the world for taste and consistency. wine list: provided, wide the price range with a page dedicated to the wines of the area selected by the restaurant with a good value for money; from this I chose a red of montalcino, wineries haute, really great! average high prices but in line with what eaten
