I was having a bad day and eating here turned things around for me. I know that things are never constant and am glad I had a better experience than the last reviewer. Though I was last to be served and was the second person to get there, I was pleasantly surprised. The terrace is cool and helped me relax. Nice view and had a good vibe. The pizza was different but really good. I loved the chimichurri sauce that comes... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about CASA CHIQUITA PIZZA:
We ordered the camarones pesto pizza, which sounded good, but was actually only average. That said, the rooftop seating was nice and our server was attentive, so I would be willing to give this place another try. View all feedback.
Food is not good, there are NO vegan options and service is simply bad. The place is really cool with beautiful views, but it lacks everything else. Not even a nice lemonade!
I wanted to correct a mistake in my rating of 9/14. We were recently in San Miguel (7/15 and were delighted to return to Casa Chiquita. When searching for their vegan options (we always make sure!) the staff kindly told us that there are honey in the crust. The cook told us he would make us a vegan crust in a few days. We gave him our email address and emailed them a few days later, but no answer to the vegan crust. Cudos, to be honest. We're sorry we couldn't separate ourselves. We also did not want others to be misled by my previous review. 9/14Great wood fire pizza. Not many selections (they only serve pizza!), but the veggie (without cheese was fabulous. The pizza oven and the execution can be found at the entrance of Hotel Casa Chiquita. If you decide to stay there and eat what you should if you can on three flights from stairs to the roof where there are three tables and some Adirondack chairs, a pond and beautiful garden area. The view of the Parroquia, the roofs and the surrounding countryside is a spectacular setting for delicious dishes. If you go in the evening, make sure that an additional layer can make it cool! Would give 5 stars if they don't serve meat. Updated by previous rating on Wednesday, 24. September 2014

The pizza has egg, so for vegan people it's not an option. The service is good and gentle.
