The courtyard is very well done with its retractable roof.The coffee was large and good. The food was under par. Go for drinks and enjoy the space.
My sister and I stayed in an Airbnb close to the Cafe Buen Dia and we had breakfast there almost every morning we were in San Miguel. It is a peaceful patio off of Hidalgo with excellent coffee and food. I fell in love with their jugo verde and miss it terribly now that I am back in the US. The proprietors are great and kindly engaged with my pretty basic Spanish. I don't know for certain that this is the best breakfast in San Miguel, because I really didn't want to go anywhere else!
