There are actually a few places to find Sushi in San Marcos, but I can rave over Kobe! We sat fast (10 minutes or so) and soon had an order. What User doesn't like about Kobe Steak House Sushi:
The restaurant itself is nice. We got the Chicken teriyaki lunch plate and just by first looking at it I could tell the vegetables were over cooked but everything else looked great. Taste wise, the chicken had a burnt taste and was too salty, the fried rice was over seasoned as well. View all feedback.

Great Hibachi atmosphere. Tasty food. Friendly upbeat service. Could use an interior remodel but overall good experience. Ordered Boston Roll sushi, Hibachi entrees come wit ginger salad onion soup NY strip w/ chicken, Lobster w/ scallops. White peach sake.
We have been here before and have excellent experience all 3 times. The waitress was polite and friendly. The food delicious and generous in portions. We love coming here.

I’m going to give 2 stars because it wasn’t horrible, the appetizers were mostly good and the bowls were alright. As someone else said, this is All-You-Can-Eat-Rice, I’ve never seen such laughable sushi. You’re literally eating rice rolls with a smidgen of filling. The drink was really weird so just got water. There’s a reason it’s only $14.95 for all you can eat.
