I've been past this place for years and decided it was time to review it. The salmon, Halibut and oysters are formed on the half shell. Both the fish and the fries came fresh and crisp. The salmon were very humid and portion sizes were good. Oysters were also great. Only cash. Please support this little business! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about San Luis Fish Bbq:
Had the fried halibut chips, shark chips, and grilled yellowtail coleslaw. Halibut was moist and flaky. Shark is firm but thin, which was not expected. The grilled yellowtail had an interesting tangy sauce on it, but the pieces were a good size. The fries were disappointing, kind of soggy. Indoor dining is still closed so we ate at the 3 tables outside. View all feedback.

Do not leave yourself from the tatty inside, this place is the bees knees. I am English, so I am an experienced fish and chipper, so take my word for it when I say that this place is worth a 20-mile detour as we come from the highway. The Clam Chowder is not to sniff and we had some veggie rolls on the side coz 'Murica. Thank you for a great meal under $20 for two ps. Don't be a spoon and leave the bread bowl for the Clam Chowder, it's the best piece!
Not a fan, Fish Chips were not what I expected based upon some of the stellar reviews I had read.
Stop the 101. I got the salmon with fries: it was quite simple, but tasted super, very fresh, and it was cooked under 10 min and amazingly costs only $8'50. I'll be back
Fish right from the docks, grilled, good sides and an incredible deal probably the best bang for dollar fish dinner I ever had.
