Moreover, there is an employee in the meat department who appears to hold strong prejudices against Asians. This individual, described as a tall man with dark hair, possibly a mustache, was giving Asian customers dirty looks and seemed ready to explode if they were to ask about the sale items. I witnessed him yelling at some Asian customers who were simply browsing, telling them that the sale items were sold out and making a threatening gesture. This behavior is unacceptable, and I have informed my Asian friends about what occurred. They have all pledged to boycott the store until this employee is no longer working there. Luckys, you should be ashamed of allowing this type of discrimination and mistreatment to occur in your establishment.
I couldn 't send on their website, so this is what I tried to write to them I was at the (my preferred San Lorenzo California store last night. It wasn 't very busy, so I was happy to go in, while I was walking down the bread isle there was a unhoused man standing right where my selection was, I walked past him while he talked to himself. When I reached the end of the isle, I found a store employee from the bakery dept. I told her there about him she said okay and walked away. Moments later as I passed the hardware section, he was still shopping . I completed my shopping and went to pay I saw the same employee and told her he was still shopping , she told me they couldn 't ask him to leave because he might have money (really? . By not asking him to leave you are telling me to go somewhere else for my groceries. It really has been a pleasure shopping your store up till now. Safeway is closer to my house so I will be going there from now on. I wish you luck collecting money from the homeless (if anything they are looking for what they steal and find comfort that my REAL l money will be going someplace else. You can also know that I will be letting my extended family and friends know about my recent experience. Lucky 's Grocery Store
This restaurant is very expensive. A Russet potato weighing about 1 lb costs over $2, and the same goes for an onion, which costs $1.99 per pound. I ended up leaving and buying onions for 69¢ per pound at the Asian market. The Mexican market is more budget-friendly.
I enjoy dining at Lucky restaurant, however, they need to address their issue with rodents. On two occasions, I have seen a rat running through the store. This time, a worker was causing a commotion trying to either catch or scare it away in the frozen food department. I am concerned about the store potentially being shut down, so they must take action to resolve this problem.
I was there last nite and I saw a huge rat by all the fruit area
