This restaurant offers authentic Japanese cuisine and is a fantastic spot for enjoying a meal while conversing with friends. The sushi was excellent, although the rice was slightly sweeter and less sticky than I'm accustomed to. The fish was perfect; I particularly enjoyed the salmon and tuna on the rainbow roll. The service was outstanding—kind, knowledgeable, and attentive staff made the experience even better. The... View all feedback.
What Cassandra S doesn't like about Silk:
If I could give zero stars, I would. The raw sushi was completely unappetizing and had an overpowering fishy taste. The Creamy Crab Wontons were disappointingly small and contained no crab, just cream cheese. The fried rice was below average as well. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was soggy and did not include the cream cheese or avocado that I specifically requested. I ended up spending nearly $100 and ended up throwing ev... View all feedback.
I found the doordash delivery to be exceptional and a great serving size. My order: 2× Rollo de carne Terriyaki Beef Terriyaki Roll 2× Rollo de pollo Terriyaki Chicken Terriyaki Roll 2× Cangrejo picante Spicy Crab 1× Mandarin Beef The size of the portions and price was more than fair for PR. I was also surprised how fast they got the food to me. The delivery person from DD, unrelated to Silk, did not speak English and I do not speak Spanish well enough to communicate so that sucked. But otherwise, I am very satisfied with the order and the size of the food. I had enough to last me into the next day. It tasted fresh and made with care. The Mandarin beef was impossible to put down and I ended up eating the whole thing with some assorted sushi. Silk is absolutely worth your time to go visit or order on DD. I don't typically review Asian combo restaurants, but I enjoyed the sushi/sashimi. Everything was fresh and tasty and was presented nicely. We did not have any of the Chinese dishes, so I can't comment. Service was on point and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant was great.
The staff were overwhelmed with a massive rush, but their professionalism allowed them to move forward with more guests. I loved that the owner was out helping his team. Furthermore, the food was authentic and plentiful. 10/10
Came down for a work trip and after a week long of Puerto Rican food this was a recommendation from a local. Price is right but I am always skeptical with large menus. The dumplings were good and the sushi was decent. If your looking for a cheap Asian night this would be your spot but quality wise it's a 3 star for me!
I go for the skillet dumplings and stay for the rest. Prices are reasonable, portions generous, services is excellent, ambiance comfortable and the food is very good. Plus on a nice day you can eat outside.
