We were tempted to order everything on the menu, but the server kindly suggested their best-sellers and freshest catch of the day. The server even made jokes when I ordered a kilogram of fresh lapu-lapu. We ended up enjoying pinakbet, adobong pusit, and steamed lapu-lapu, all seasoned well and served hot. The dishes paired perfectly with rice. Mang Ong offers both cafeteria-style ready-to-eat food and restaurant-style ordering from the menu. We left the restaurant satisfied and looking forward to returning. Note: When ordering fish, be prepared for a "paluto" price list for dish preparation, with the fish (or other entrees) charged separately.
