Excellent dinner! Food was absolutely delicious with great service. The restaurant closes in the afternoon but Jose opened up for dinner for just the four of us.

Good, fresh, delicious food. Excellent service. Average prices. Well worth the visit to a place with a familiar home atmosphere and delicious meats cooked in a very Costarican way. Highly recommended.

What a pleasant surprise to stumble across this restaurant this afternoon. In a converted residential garage there sits a thriving local cafe. When we arrived the place was bustling with the staff from the myriad of local businesses from the surrounding industrial area but the staff made sure to welcome us and make us feel at home . Language was no barrier despite our lack of Spanish as our waiter was fluent in English . There are no menus at “ The Garage “ but there were a host of choices offered by our waiter . We both decided to go with the special and were glad that we did . It was scrumptious. A huge portion of grilled chicken breast smothered in homemade honey mustard sauce served with salad and rice. Lunch also included some appetizer popcorn, delicious drinks and a complimentary dessert all for $13 US for two . Little wonder that they have such local appeal. If you happen to find yourself in the neighbourhood, do yourself a favour and check this one out !
