T4 - San Jose

I decided to come here with friends since one of them already likes going to T4, given their prices are usually lower than a lot of other newer boba shops, and they have a huge menu. I got a potted milk tea, which I was intrigued by since I'd never heard of it before, but it's really more of a sweet milk tea with crushed oreos on it. I got the large size, 50% sweet and 30% ice. I thought the taste was satisfactory, as it matched my craving for a sweet drink with dairy and would suit someone who likes cookies and cream flavor or Oreo milk tea in general. It would be nice if there was an explanation of what it is on the menu, though, or perhaps they could've come up with a more distinctive and novel flavor for this particular drink, or at least put it something other than their standard plastic cup so it actually looks more like the potted plant it's supposedly named for. However, service was fast and they have some outdoor seating.

Not new to T4, but recently been a regular here at this specific T4 location. The drinks here are better than most T4s that I know. Because of this, I'm always here to do homework. There are outlets, the atmosphere is okay, and I get pretty productive here. However, one staff member here is always being messy and the drinks that she makes are unlike her peers it's diluted and has no flavor/aroma from the tea. She never wipes the cup after she seals the drink. and this is the third time now. I'd understand there are off days but this is unacceptable. She sports an anti social club sweater on 11/9/21 at around 6 PM and she has a Japanese look. Management needs to take a look into her workflow.

Caution: If you have enjoyed the basil chicken and other delicious roasted dishes at other T4 locations, you may find some favorites here. However, our experience was the opposite. We tried to order some of our favorite menu items from T4, but they were not available. The popcorn chicken took 20 minutes to arrive, even though there were few other customers. They were also out of the sauce for the chicken. Overall, we were disappointed and would not recommend this place. It felt like a watered-down version of T4. We suggest visiting one of their other locations for better quality and a full menu.

Great service and drinks at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and approachable, but they could work a bit faster.
