This is the best Omakase/Kaiseiki restaurant in San Francisco's Financial District! They change their menus with the seasons and each dish is presented like a work of art. I don't want to waste time going into detail about my entire experience, but I celebrated my wife's birthday with friends at this restaurant. It's not worth the effort to visit here. I give a 0 rating for the bartender service. We felt like an inconvenience for just ordering drinks. Put down your phones and do your job! View all feedback.
The first time to eat here, thanks to the eater youtube video. sate in the bar and was visited by the excellent chef aki for the greatest part, but the others were just as good. Love as they took the time to explain every dish and more important how to eat! the tuna demonstration was also a wonderful learning experience for me and these dishes were again my favorite, especially the best!

A delightful personal experience with the 3 special chefs who met at Napa Morimoto’s years ago. Artistic and substantial with special detail and exquisite presentation. Timing and cadence of omakase excellent, and the ankimo (monkfish liver) best I’ve ever had made by chef Seth. Paired with a couple special beers a yuzo and a rice based perfect for the first several lighter flights. Highly recommend for seasoned and beginner omakese venturers.
Everything about the evening was perfect! Wouldn’t be able to pick at something negative even if we tried. The flawless experience started the moment we stepped into the restaurant. We want to particularly thank our chef of the evening, Chef Aki. Super personable and an overall great person to chat and be in company of. Thank you to everyone on staff who was a part of our memorable Valentine’s dinner!
Wonderful. Texture of all fish was incredible best I've ever had. Flavor was amazing on all dishes.
