This restaurant offers some of the most exquisite masa dishes in the city. I've been coming here since childhood, and their quality has always been consistent. It's our family's go-to spot for Huaraches, Tortillas, and prepared meals for lunch, among other things. I wish I could call it a "hidden gem," but the locals are already well aware of it. Would have gave it more stars, go early, they are very busy, got the feeling, they don't care for the customers as long as you pay. There is really no parking, unless you get lucky like I did and get a spot. Beef tamales are good, refried beans are good... View all feedback.
Vegetarian Gurachen were delicious! It came with a generous part of grilled vegetables and salad. Also very affordable compared to SF. I want to try everything here!
This is the only place to go for real handmade tortillas. Only store left in SF that makes tortillas the ancient mayan way. I now drive 20 minutes to buy the groceries and food. The chips and salsa are the best in the bay area. Best Mexican store in the Mission.
Amazing food, reasonable prices. Great place to grab a pint of cooked beans or a stack of fresh corn tortillas. Tables outside to eat your burritos and what have you. The vegetable burrito was great, tho if you don?t want large pieces of carrot, broccoli, and such I understand. Tortilla chips are incredible. Grab a full chicken for $10 or cater a party for $100.

I love this place. I was introduced to it a couple years ago. It use to be family owned not sure if it still is. The inside of the store/restaurant is tiny, but full of goodies. These burritos are to die for. They set my burrito bar pretty high. The carnitas and taco sonora are delicous. Their tortillas both corn and flour are amazing. Yes they are pricey but totally worth it. I will drive an hour just to go get a burrito and pick up some tortillas. I feel bad that I didn't get a good picture of the burrito but it was too good to stop and take one.
