Definitely a comfort food place.... if you know what you want that is not on their menu, go ahead and order it, and the will prepare it for you like your mom would prepare it for you at home. And price value very good. View all feedback.
What david parry doesn't like about Hong's Kitchen:
The porridge w/ meatballs was the highlight. Meatballs had nice texture flavor. The beef chow fun was good. Some enjoyed the squab. The preserved egg pork porridge was completely bland. View all feedback.
Authentic home cooking. You can call ahead to special order pretty much any dishes. Affordable price.
I wish I could recommend this restaurant for a Michelin star, they make traditional Chinese food, and they make it well.

Pepper lamb was very good, service was slow with one waitress. Great food.
I ordered a plate of lunch special Sweet and Sour Pork. The flavor is great, very sweet and sour. The portion is huge for a lunch portion, definitely had a food coma after that. The decor is definitely old school and a little dirty, but this is the kind of place it is, no frills with fairly cheap prices for good quality food.
