My favorite spot to catch sports in San Francisco. Make sure to arrive early to secure a seat at the bar or one of the communal tables; otherwise, you might end up standing. They offer a fantastic range of beers and mixed drinks, alongside tasty Pittsburgh-style cuisine, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Being from Pennsylvania, I especially appreciate their decorations that celebrate my home state. View all feedback.
Giordano's brings me a taste of my childhood hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to my new hometown of San Francisco. They modeled their sandwiches after the classic Primanti Bros. sandwiches and have lots of Pittsburgh related sports memorabilia as their decor. Great place to reflect and remember my time back east.
If you've ever been to Pittsburgh, you might have visited the famous Primanti Brothers restaurant. They're famous for their sandwiches served on fluffy bread with coleslaw and fries in the sandwich. It's tasty stuff. Giordano Brothers is a similar concept in fact this is a place for Pittsburgh people. On NFL gameday Sundays, expect the bar to be full of black and gold. I like the Hot Coppa with an egg on it.
Must be one of the best bars for watching sports. Didn't eat there but the atmosphere for the NHL game was just great. Super friendly bar staff, the place radiating with welcoming atmosphere.
I really enjoy this East Coast-style restaurant, often referred to as the Pittsburgh bar. They serve some of the best wings in the city! Pair them with a nice cold beer, and you're all set. Plus, the sandwiches are fantastic as well.
