In a small Borgo near San Felice Circeo, excellent food and courtesy of people make this place a must not only in summer. First dishes are very good, as well as meat (I understand that they have a butcher nearby and most meat products are their own. Desserts were also very good. This is a meat place! And it's one of those places that you rarely discover. It is in Borgo Montenero, which is part of San Felice Circeo, but away from the main part of the city. Put your GPS, but be ready to stop towards the end - it is worth it. Just when you think you took a wrong turn at the end of the earth, you will be done in a filled parking lot. The interior is recently renovated and very pleasant. A butcher counter at the entrance shows the cuts of the meat on offer. (They raise their own beef and bufala - a bufala is a Mediterranean buffalo). When we arrived, the owner took great pain to find us a table that pleased us. Service was polite and prompt. The staff worked as a team, so there was never a moment on something. The menu centered, good, beef and bufala. A feature was a 700 gram, which are 25 ounces. I chose a slightly more modest beef with an excellent salad. My wife and friend took the Bufalawurst, served on the spit, with Broccoli rabe. The meat dishes come with a unique garnish of what was described as fried spaghetti very well. The last bill was completely reasonable. Everything was excellent, and we will be safe again
