We dropped here for the first time on Saturday night. Found parking and was seated within minutes. We ordered garlic edamame, some classic roles, dynamite role, some chicken, noodles. Maybe it was the aales sauce they used, but it seemed most of our sushi rolls were on the salty side. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Next time try again. View all feedback.

I want to really like this place. The food looks and tastes amazing. I got the mixed poke bowl and boy o boy was it amazing. I got the Japanese beer and miso soup as well. I enjoyed all of it. The issue I ran across on my date night was the service. My wife initially ordered and got the wrong item. Ordered again and got the wrong item again. Through the night we were also fairly heavily ignored. My items came out ver... View all feedback.
Solid sushi option walking distance from the Courtyard hotel. The patio was beautiful. Service was excellent friendly and quick. The Gyoza was delicious. At my servers suggestion I ordered the Balboa which was good. Quality fish, but could have used a sauce. The Kraken was fantastic.
Well priced sushi and udon. Cheaper than other places. Point break roll had a nice spicy kick but not empowering and the spicy udon had a good kick with the broth and jalapeños. Overall ambience is good and cleanliness could be amp up a bit but would t deter from eating. Outdoor patio seating was relaxing.
Everything was ready and fresh. The flavors were really good. The garlic edamame was flavorful. If you like sushi this is a great place to try. My picky son had the chicken teriyaki and he said the sauce was pretty good and he doesn't do sauce on his food.Food: 5/5
Excellent spot neat the hotel. Friendly staff, prompt service and excellent food! Nice menu selection.Parking: Free parking in SD is something to brag about!
Cant believe I havent yelped this place. This is our go to sushi place. We come here once a week or once every couple weeks! Great for random sushi crave or after school spot! Never a long wait, fish and sushi are freshhh. The place is a casual Sushi spot- not a fine dining restaurant but I prefer this w/ no wait or reservations than those. Service is always fast and food comes out right away. Maybe because not too many people know about it yet being a Gem. We've had their whole menu pretty much. Ramen is rich and tasty and their sashimi is fresh! My son always go for the crunchy roll. My favorite rolls are the Bruce Lee and Baby Shark. You have to try those. It has a special jalapeno sauce. The plates are also delicious- try the salmon plate!!
