Unfortunately, there were several drawbacks. Firstly, the inconsistency regarding vegan desserts was confusing. I was also disappointed to find meat on the menu. The vegan options were limited, and there were uncertainties regarding the ingredients' vegan status, such as the vegan Brie cheese.

I tried a strawberry shortcake and an alive tiramisu, and although we ordered a few other items, not all of them impressed us. I recall throwing away a portion of dessert a few days later as the texture was a bit off, but the taste was okay. However, this was before I had much experience with gluten-free desserts, so I may need to give their items another try as texture won't bother me as much now. I appreciated the vegan options, ingredient knowledge, and variety of offerings, but since the items themselves weren't my favorite, I can only give them three stars for now. Update: I visited the Hillcrest market today and asked about vegan options. I was informed that everything is vegan now, and they no longer make cheesecake. I'm not sure if this applies to all locations, but it was good to know! Updated from my previous review on 2022-03-05.

The Panini I ordered was okay, but it was dry due to the vegan Mayo. The hummus sandwich, priced at $12.99, seemed overpriced for what it was. Overall, I would not recommend this place as there are better dining options available. If you do decide to try it, be wary of the vegan options. You won't be missing out on much by skipping this restaurant.
