What User doesn't like about North Italia San Diego One Paseo:
from 2 main courts (similar and bark meat.) they try to blame “delivery chain” problems. do not eat at the same time. three of us sat with our eating cold for 5 minutes waiting for a escape. server tried to pay attention, but understaffed. he tried to explain how hard it is to rent people. really tired of this old excuse. the presentation of means of life was so. it was very average eating and service for superficial... Our server was great--at first. But unfortunately a large group took over the area where we were seated (we were 4 people) and our server and others got too busy. I ordered the Beef Marsalla which is pricey, ordered it med rare and it was really well done, no pink to be found. The others pasta was just OK. Ambience is pleasant if not a large group taking over.
Service was great Food was good was disappointed the calamari changed from tossed with salad. It was definitely not as good. Loved the short ribs on the pasta. That was a great change. Drinks were pricey and marginal. The grapefruit martini has gotten so sweet it taste like Kool-Aid. For that price I would like more of a handcrafted cocktail.
Excellent service and food, and a really nice location for a meal! The menu is varied and we always enjoy the ambiance here.
