Lima - San Diego

It is Perú’s Independence Day, therefore you will most likely need a reservation to get a decent table on popular and great restaurants like Lima.... I had one with OpenTable... turns out Lima doesn’t use that reservation system anymore they use Yelp... and my reservation for 3 plus a toddler was nowhere to be found... the table we had was out on their patio all in the shade but the heat was overwhelming. I asked why didn’t the just call OpenTable and have them update their site. They said they did and it is up to OpenTable to actually update their system, that there was nothing they could do on their end. They were as usual very attentive, helpful and sweet with the baby, food was delicious. I just hoped that the late was no issue with our reservation.

The food was good but a traditional Peruvian dish such as Lima Saltado has more sauce.

Food was very tasty and service got better once they had more help show up. Being next to road there were a few times were very loud bikes and cars went by. Will be back to try other menu items.

My Peruvian wife loves checking out new places to eat. Lima has a really good menu and we loved the Anticuchos (ours are better though! , Causa and the Ceviche Mixto was very good. Check it out!

Amazing food. Best ceviche I've ever had outside of Lima.
