One of our favorite restaurants, but this time, I was very disappointed in my brunch selection the Croque Madame. The bread was simply white bread, not toasted or grilled in any way. Very dry and unexciting View all feedback.
What Elizabeth Tugyi doesn't like about Au Revoir French Bistro:
Food was overpriced for the quality of food. The mushroom soup was extremely chunky and not puréed. Sauce on the filet mignon ruined the flavor of the steak because there were too many large pieces of what tasted like tarragon; it was overpowering. The crème brûlée had Grand Marnier in it and it was all you could taste, which also didn't have a hint of vanilla bean in it. I've been coming to this restaurant since 201... View all feedback.
A beautiful choice for an increased French culinary experience within the borders of hillcrest, this place makes a decent task to offer a beautiful experience. the food was well cooked, although the scallops needed only one hauch salt, as the rest of the meal was absolutely great. the mushroom filling on the ravioli loved. the server made a good job as he was the only one out of the ten tables there. the strangest problem was the sitting situation, as there were only four or so options for sitting couples together that were not the best, and when more couples came, the seats got hard when they ran out and larger parties came, could not sit.
We have dined on a weekday, so it was pretty quiet. they offered a 3-course menu and the ala carte menu. I can never say no to branzino so I really enjoyed my meal. the French woof soup was super, tasteful and filled with a lot of wobble. my dinner partner had the disappointment and was a bit disappointed that it wasn't as sharp as it could be. a beautiful culinary experience.
Nice little French bistro on Hillcrest. We had a reservation for 8 at 4:30 p.m., but we thought we could come early, but that day they opened at exactly 4:30 p.m., so we, where the 1st in and had the place for us, but it was very fast busy. You have a great menu and very good wines. We had the Mouton Cadet from Bordeaux and a great choice. We ordered several dishes to share between us and everything was delicious. One of our orders was held back, but it was really crowded, but at the end it finally came and it was okay. I recommend the orange duck and the lamb frame. Onion soup was also very good. Our server has done a great job for a packed place. Anyway, I'll be back.
Came here for the V-day. The service was terrible, but there was only one waitress on the floor cover 30-40 tables. Not her fault. The Puff bakery on the Escargot was not possible. Not sure if she was for decoration or what, but she literally couldn't chew her. It resembled a bottle capsule. my beef stew was delicious. I would go back, just for that
Pleasant bistro serving traditional French fare in the heart of Hillcrest. The lavender fries are a must try. They are crispy, salty and floral very unique, and it totally works. The steak frites au poivre came with a thick, rich sauce with peppercorns and caramelized onions and was pleasantly salty. You will not leave hungry after dining here. Service was very good. They were experiencing an unexpected rush for a Sunday evening, and my server managed to take care of more than her fair share of guests with efficiency and an upbeat demeanor.
