What Dharma M doesn't like about Plantation Coffee Roastery:
Looks like family run coffee shop. is ok. I like the scone. Looks like many regulars who just go behind the cashier to refill coffee. Looks like 2 stores in one place.Food: 3/5 View all feedback.
The restaurant has WiFi with download speeds of 120Mbit/s and upload speeds of 14Mbit/s, as well as power outlets along the wall. As for the food, I would rate it a 3 out of 5.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this charming family-owned restaurant. The ambiance was enhanced by classic music and reliable Wi-Fi. The drip coffee and cappuccino were both delicious and satisfying.
This family-owned restaurant is absolutely wonderful. They play classic music and have great Wi-Fi. The drip coffee and cappuccino are both delicious.
The service is kind of rude, I left without ordering. I had a list of drinks I was going to order on my phone and I pulled my phone out to read it to which the older lady working the front goes oh your not ready and starts to turn away. Then after every drink order she kept asking is that it? I was really annoyed and after the 3rd drink I ordered she said there was no ice for the drink to which I go it 's fine just make it without ice like a regular hot drink and she responds with okay so just 2 drinks. I felt like she wasn 't listening and she was annoyed so I just told her you know what it 's okay never mind and left . I 'm not coming back, there 's plenty of places to try out.
Can't comment on the drinks or service, I've only bought beans here over the course of about half a year.Unfortunately they aren't in the business of roasting any of their coffee lightly. I've asked a few times now for the lightest roast they had, hoping for better, and got a medium-dark city or full city roast.Columbian: Roasted pretty dark, full-city. Bit of a burned ashy flavor. Not much going on thereEspresso blend: Mix of city and very dark, almost french roast. Had some character brewed as drip, couldn't get the bitterness out when pulling espresso, I think the blend was too spread out for actual espressoGuatemalan: About as light as I could get, still a city roast and was showing oils. Probably the best of them, has some nuttiness and retained a small amount of acidityI tried the french roast for a laugh. Wouldn't recommendOverall, if you are into dark or medium-dark roasts, you can probably squeak out good coffee by asking for the lightest beans they have on hand. The price, 8 for 8oz isn't terrible to try a few either. If you're into light bodied coffee, this ain't it
