A nice little restaurant, it's decorated with shells and other leftovers from the sea. Typical of the pueblo, small, but reasonable.We ate guacamole, quesadillas, ensaladas, fillet mignon, and a plate of fish asada. Everything was really nice. The salad had a really nice mango dressing, and not that 'Randy's **** that is plastered over salads here. View all feedback.

They cater mostly to international tourist . As a mexican I Am very disappointed that the original taste is modified to suit other palets . I understand the need to sell but respect our traditions. View all feedback.
We three British middle aged guys were in the second week of our fortnight's holiday in Mexico. We had checked into our Hotel Posada del Rey and I used their wifi to research local restaurants on TA. I found this restaurant close, appealing, open and highly rated. This was to be our first meal in the small port of San Blas so expectations were high. We arrived around 19:26 (on Sunday 25/3/18) to find a large but cozy dining room festooned with shellfish, turtle shells, fish jaw bones and other paraphernalia which several groups of local Mexican diners were enjoying as well as the food which looked appetising! We took the table underneath the jaws of a fish and were greeted by the friendly waiter who provided some menus (see pictures). The selection was simple and medium priced. We ordered some beers and studied the menu. The three beers arrived quickly (19:31) and a couple of minutes later a small bowl of pickled pimientos, some round crispy tacos and a pot or red spicy sauce. We ordered: Mixto a la Diabla (150), Camarones al Ajo (145), Pescado Filete a la Diabla (135) and a sharing dish of Champiñones a la Pimienta (90). The mushrooms came first a few minutes later (19:36) along with some real garlic bread as an appetiser and the mushrooms were quite spicy and tasty. All very welcome and we finished the dish along with the beers so we ordered another round of beer. At 19:48 the main dishes arrived. My Camarones a la Diabla were a nicely presented and generous amount of very tasty peeled shrimps with a very tasty vinaigrette shredded carrot salad and scoop of rice. My friend's fish fillets were also generous and in the same deep brown spicy sauce. Our friend's shrimps in garlic were very tasty he said. They both had the same scintillating salad and a tasty fried plantain each. I think the waiter topped up the toasted garlic bread. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our tasty treats! We do not usually have a desert but the friendly waiter offered us some banana cake at 20 (not on the menu) so we ordered one to share, with three spoons. It arrived at 20:13 and looked scrumptious as the top was baked and caramelised. It was certainly very tasty! We were very happy after and ordered the bill which came at 20:15 at a very reasonable 690 for such a dining experience with good food and service so we left 750. We had only been there for less than an hour but it seemed more as the atmosphere was so good. We left (happy and sated) the (now pretty empty) restaurant at 20:20 to enjoy the nearby central square. The restaurant claimed to close at 21:00 so many have closed early if the remaining diners left earlier than 21:00. We intended to return (a rare decision) as we talked about it a couple of times after but ended up missing it the next two evenings as it closed too early for us to get to.

Very Friendly staff speaks some English . The food is very good. Located near the town center. Amazing wall decorations made out of shells.
We had Chef's Alfredos special seafood . Fish and shrimp. A wonderful combo. Others had steak which was also great.
