I had lunch with a friend today at MPH. I hadn't been before since I heard they were always crazy busy at breakfast time, but I see why! I ordered the ham cheese sammy and my friend had some avocado toast and a side of eggs. My food was so fresh and delicious, served with strawberries. I also ordered orange juice, which was fresh and delicious as well. The service was quick and the atmosphere pleasant. Would definite... View all feedback.
What Josh A doesn't like about Magnolia Pancake Haus:
My party was not allowed to be seated because one out of the five of us were a couple of minutes away from the restaurant. We then had to wait an extra 20 minutes or so. None of the other restaurants I frequent have this type of questionable rule. The food was pretty good overall but the avocado I ordered was not ripe yet. The restaurant is fairly loud. They have you pay at the front and stand in line again to pay. T... View all feedback.
I give it a 5* review because the welcome, the service and the place are great. We ordered something very simple but delicious, the bacon is thicker and crispier than in New Mexico(where I live) and the pancakes have a very unique flavor. I feel like we could have ordered something else but there were no menus available at the time so we had to scan a QR code to see the menu which was just the name and description of the dish. Unfortunately it doesn 't have photos to give me an idea of the dish, but that 's [my preference, not the restaurant 's problem. In order not to risk not liking it, we decided to order something like 'the house dish ' that almost all restaurants have. Of course, the service is exceptional, the food was served quickly, everyone is very attentive, the one I assume was the manager came to the table to ask if everything was okay. From the moment we arrived until we left, everyone was very friendly. I definitely recommend it and would eat there again if I 'm in San Antonio, only this time I 'll take more time to learn more about other dishes.
We visited on a Monday around 11 am and the wait time was around 30 minutes, but this place was worth the wait. Once seated, our server was so friendly and attentive. The personal mimosas were perfect for the size of the tables. The banana nut bread french toast was amazing still tastes great as leftovers. They allow reservations, so I would definitely recommend making one, if possible before heading down there!
This was spectacular. Breakfast was so good. Jake was our waiter and he did an excellent job. Pancakes were fluffy and tasted delicious. Bacon was really thick and had a great taste. Eggs were good. Biscuits were big and delicious. Go early. There might be a wait otherwise. But it is worth your wait. Staff was friendly. And the cashier had a great attitude and smile.
This place was a great place to eat at. The servers were , the food was amazing, the interior and exterior of the restaurant have a cozy vibe. Also big shout out to the server Jerry he was very kind and provided awesome customer service. For my first time being there I had a good experience!
My wife and I are always looking for a new place to have breakfast. This place has definitely earned my repeat business. Everything from the customer service to even paying the bill was great. I would like to recommend this place to everyone who wants a awesome breakfast with the type of service that will promise to have you recommending to your friends and family.
