What Kale Lebsack doesn't like about La Jalisco:
Look- chips, salsa and tacos form the foundation of a good Mexican restaurant and this place went 0 for 3. It is as if taste took a vacation. The carnitas tacos were bland, the chips below average and the salsa watery. The pico de Gallo forgot to hook up with the tomatoes. All that said, service was good and the food is cheap. I am from Austin and I just made my 4th trip to San Antonio. I come here to pay my respects at the Alamo and to eat at La Jalisco. The food is amazing and the prices are unbeatable! I especially love their cheese enchiladas, which come with delicious rice and beans, a tasty taco, salad, and unlimited tortillas. The current price is $7.49. With amazing food like this near the Military Plaza, only suckers and tourists will overpay for lower quality food on the Riverwalk.

I love it here one of the few Mexican restaurant that offers light options like nopal with eggs and oatmeal
I would all way go to eat there when I was pregnant and now I still do me and my daughter love eating there and my mom I would gave them more then a 5 star I would gave thenm a 10 star just for there amazing food
