Dough Pizzeria Napoletana - San Antonio

Really enjoyed our lunch here at Dough Pizzeria Napoletana. Derrick, our waiter, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was so tasty, especially the burrata and their pizzas. The burrate and pizza dough is made in house and you call — such wonderful flavors. This restaurant has a fun ambiance and I highly recommend dining here.

We had dinner there tonight, and as good as the reviews were, we ended up disappointed. Not everything was bad, as our server Blair was an absolute all star. She really went above and beyond to ensure we had the best dining experience. Now, the pizzas were pretty good, and the cheese appetizers was very nice, but the pricing was outrageous! Two of us shared a cheese appetizer, a pizza, and 3 drinks, and the total with tips was $140. Just completely insane for what we had.

I'd heard about this place for years which bodes well for it finally went. Had the Burratta sampler to start. Wow! I didn't think it would beat the Burratta we had at Nona's but it was just as good. Delicious with fresh everything and hand pulled mozzarella. The pesto and tomatoes were extraordinary. Had the Margherita Americano pizzas. Similar pizza to Grimaldi's, but better. The ingredients were top notch and fresh. Crust was a wonderful thin naan, blackened in parts from a great oven. My new favorite pizza. It's a little pricey but not for the quality you get. We'll be back.

The burrata sampler is some if the best cheese I've EVER had!! Do not pass it up! SO worth it! The fontina pizza was delicious, as was the Buffalo Margherita and the speck special we had. The crust is DELISH. The peach bellini is scrumptious. As you can see, we finished our desserts, but don't recommend you waste time on them.

This is a must go! The tre burrata was absolutely delish, flavorful, and paired with wine it’s perfection! Had a few different pizzas with my party and all were delish. The crust is perfectly crisp and not too thin. Go here, you won’t be disappointed.Food: 5/5
