Delicious! It was our 5 year anniversary and they even opened early to work with our babysitter schedule. Super nice staff and the food was amazing. Our first time having ox tail and we loved it. Thank you Chef Gabriel! View all feedback.
This was an amazing dinner! We came for a wedding anniversary, and everything was so delicious. The chef even made special accommodations since I am vegetarian. Absolutely loved every dish, and so glad we came here for our celebration!
Una at the Silo offers an excellent dining experience with top notch customer service and expertly crafted meals. Don't expect large portions, you will receive small portions with amazing flavors. The staff changes up the menu often and it's always delicious! The one change is would strongly recommend is to include a side with your main dishes. If I'm spending $46 on a main dish, I would normally expect that it comes with at least one side.
So last night, fiance' and I made a venture into the old Silo House Restaurant in San Angelo now titled UNA at the Silo where Chef Guttierez and wife Brittni are putting out phenomenal plates of food that rock the palate. For now, it's BYOB until their TBAC is approved. The menu is anything but normal. Everything is done to perfection, crafted for flavor and quality as well as gorgeous presentation. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality and the portion. The venu retains all it's quaint, quiet, charm making it the definition of a prime date night spot. In fact, we both agree this is one of our top 3 date night spots from now on. Desserts change weekly, the menu changes seasonally. Chef, partner-owner Eric, and wife-server Brittni are a team off to a dang good start with this culinary revitalization of the Silo House.
4/5 because I enjoyed it but my husband didn't care for it. He had the duck with orange reduction and I had the salmon. I thought both dishes tasted delicious. The portion size of the salmon was good, but the duck itself wasn't very filling. We split a side of russet potatoes in cream and that was the best part of the meal. For dessert we had their bomb tasting cheese cake which we both enjoyed. So good! The atmosphere feels slightly quirky (which I view as a good thing) but the food is refined. Total cost for dinner was around $85.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in all of San Angelo. The Chef makes everything delicious. The service is worth coming back to and they make the effort to make you feel appreciated for coming to eat here.
