Wonderful food! This family friendly restaurant serves amazing breakfast/brunch! Bring your kids, they have high chairs! Bring your dogs, you dogs can hang by the side with no problem! Bring your appetite, because the food is just wonderful! For appetizers, we ordered fried tomatoes, jalapenos cornbread, and devil eggs. My friends and I went for lunch on Sunday. I made a reservation. We arrived 15 min early and they were able to seat us right away. It was pretty busy that day and we waited one hour for our food, but the manager was nice enough to comp our food due to such a long wait!
I really like this place and have been quite a few times. My only complaint I was excited to try their coffee, which is from Dark Horse Roasters next door to them, but was disappointed because it tasted really old. I should have stuck with alcohol like I usually do! Awesome spot for kids and for watching Sunday football.
It has very chilled san diegan ambiance and the food was very yummy, the tacos and the burger we tried and were so yummy
Waypoint is an excellent gastropub that provides terrific food and a great beer list. But even better is that they have a little play area for kids that has bean bags, books, toys and movies. The play area is visible from about a third of the restaurant so parents should plan to sit in that part of the place. If you're not a kid person just sit away from that side, you'll be fine. Great setup and something other restaurants can learn from.
