This gastropub was exactly as described online and the food was really good. The must haves were the Caesar salad, the pork belly dish and anything that comes with their mashed potatoes. View all feedback.
What kderst doesn't like about The Tipsy Pig:
Hi, so I actually like the tipsy pig, but I just had such a weird experience there that completely soured me on the place. One of the owner/manager guys was talking to the kitchen and turned around right as I was walking past. On a Saturday night busy, but they wouldn't know it from the hire of the staff. they were all very pleasant, helpful and gave some great recommendations! we especially loved the Queso-Fondido and Brezel bites. could have eaten a basket of it.
We ordered delivery and enjoyed tasty buffalo mozzarella sticks, french with gravy, a cobb salat and wing! the delivery was fast by grubhub, although we are 2 cities.
Great service, eating and cocktails, would come back here. it's pretty busy at weekends, so I would try to reserve a table or come early
Always great. Food is delicious. Strawberry Fields drinks is refreshing. The parmesian garlic fries are excellent. Really nice back patio.
Excellent food, a nice cocktail/beer/wine list, and very friendly service. The back patio was lined in lush walled ivy and perfectly set up for social distancing in a quaint and relaxed open-air setting. The inside bar looked very nice, rustic and well stocked, but it was closed when we visited due to Covid-19 restrictions in SF. It was really nice to see the ad hoc sidewalk seating, adjacent to the very lively and active Chestnut Street, but it was a little to crowded for my taste during the ongoing pandemic. Many other people did not seem to mind the limited social distancing of the sidewalk and were happily wearing masks in between happily eating and drinking.
