Accommodated a party of 14 of us, staff were great and the BBQ was excellent (especially the burnt ends) Great craft beer menu (bottles) made this a perfect group dinner...not my first visit and won’t be my last View all feedback.
What Clay Kaufman doesn't like about Smoking Pig BBQ:
This isn't great bbq especially for the price. The customer service and atmosphere was great, unfortunately the food wasn't. The pulled pork was bland and the burnt tips were dry and they served chunks of fat. The reviews made me think we would get southern BBQ but it wasn't close. I spent $35 on a three choices of meat and it was disappointing. View all feedback.
Great BBQ platters and combo. We enjoyed the brisket and chicken.Disappointed with the overall experience and lack of beverage options.. many cocktails were unavailable because they did not have the ingredients or the bar tools.Felt like this original location has been neglected in favour of the newer one.
Went here for a quick dinner. Easy to find. Tons of seating. Easy ordering process. I got the 2 meat plate with pulled pork and hot link. Then had mashed potato’s and Mac and cheese for my sides. Had the choice of corn bread or rice I believe. I got the corn bread. The pulled meat was good the sauces offered at the table were good on it. The hot link for me was odd it just had an odd texture. Was still good though. The mashed potato’s were good. Cornbread was excellent. The Mac and cheese was also just odd. Not sure what kind of cheese sauce they use but it was different wasn’t bad just not what I am used to in a Mac and cheese.
I recently visited Smoking Pig BBQ Company with my husband and was delicious! Very nicely cooked, the staff was very nice and the portion sizes are more than enough, Highly recomended !
The BBQ is great, beef brisket and ribs. I could not decide which was better. The Mac and cheese is unique. The banana pudding is just like Mama used to make. This is my new BBQ go-to place. The only minus is no air conditioning. Too hot to comfortably eat in.Food: 5/5
This place not being 5 stars is ridiculous. The food is excellent and, yeah, the ambiance is not the same as the inside of a French restaurant, but that’s BBQ! Don’t come here and then rate the place down because it’s not fancy and tip top. Just enjoy the casual, country vibes, eat the delicious BBQ, and be on your way. This is hands down the best BBQ in the Bay Area.
