What Marie Lisa doesn't like about La Playa:
I ordered the grilled fish plate and found that the portion size did not match the cost of the meal. The salad consisted of just a few strands of lettuce and carrots. The filet was cut in half to make it look like there were two whole filets. I wish I had taken a picture, but I will not be coming back to this restaurant. View all feedback. What Eloy Castaneda Jr likes about La Playa:
Seafood and more served hot and fresh. Unlike other restaurants the shrimp cocktail is served with fresh shrimp not frozen. It was great. I also ordered the fried shrimp plate which comes with fries. It seemed like the fries were also battered a little. It was different but in a good way. Sweet tea was also good. Service was great. We will be back. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant has mixed reviews, with complaints about portion size and cost, while others found the seafood fresh and flavorful. Some enjoyed the surprise of discovering traditional Salvadoran dishes like papusas. The atmosphere is described as friendly and culturally diverse, with live music on some occasions. While service may be hit or miss, many find the food quality and value to be a draw for repeat visits. Overall, it seems to be a place where locals and visitors alike can enjoy a unique dining experience.
