Yeah, these are bold words. But then again, this is excellent chocolate! Mind you, you can get all sorts of chocolate here, but the go to stuff here is the classic style version (kinda grainy, little to no sugar basically what you use to make hot chocolate, Mexican style . What Katya V doesn't like about La Rifa Chocolateria:
We went here for a cake on my birthday after a day of sightseeing. I was disappointed by the selection, even though it was just after lunch. I was excited to try some of the cakes I had seen in pictures here, in particular the chocolate tamale, but all they had other than pan de muerte were cookies. Equally disappointing was the lacklustre service. The cardamom hot chocolate was good though. View all feedback.
El cacao frío es supremo, las galletas súper deliciosas
Delicioso. Necesito volver y probar las diferentes bebidas : esos tamalitos de frijol con mole... Uuuummmmm!
Tenía expectativas altas, ya que lo conocí por el gourmet (canal de tv), pero estuvo a la altura, probé el tamal de chocolate y es delicioso, en general se esmeran en como sirven los snacks que venden. Las bebidas son muy buenas y su sabor no decepciono. El único punto negativo es que no hay un lugar para sentarse donde realmente te sientas agusto, pues si llueve inevitablemente te mojaras, pues no hay donde protegerse del clima.
Excelente lugar para pasar el momento muy privado , tranquilo. Me gusta regresar por una bebida de cacao, un tamal de nata o chocolate. El aroma y sabor son reales.
Todo es muy bueno. Solo tengan cuidado con el chocolate dulce, que es muuuuy dulce.
