¡Muy rica la comida aqui! The food is very good here. Nice ambience (cool cheese grater lights) and extremely helpful and kind staff and owner. If you need something just ask Ariel and it will be taken care of quickly. I highly recommend you try the specialty drinks like mango, horchata, jamaica and tuna. All are delicious and make the meal complete. For me the chicken tacos were the best. View all feedback.
What Lucinda Kris doesn't like about Taqueria El Gallo Loco:
I ordered the Nachos supernatant without meat and it was embarrassing to see. I can't believe someone would serve it, especially for $13! I have 10 chips and half the plate was salad. In reality, one third is the size of a poster. I hope no one is torn off this place. View all feedback.
All and GO! I was here twice, but that was twice this week. I left and then I had to bring my wife back for our Date Night. I'm gluten intolerance, so I have the Enchiladas. I have El Pastor, shredded beef and Carne. The el pastor was my favorite. Each sauce has its own unique taste. Each meat also has its own taste. Unlike some restaurants where everything tastes like that. The first time I left, I was very hungry after snowboarding and I was seriously swallowed my leg and pampered the first 10 bites. The second time I was almost impressed. Salsa When I went for lunch, I got chips and salsa with a salsa. It was so unique. It was absolutely delicious. But I hesitate to describe it because I don't know if I can do justice. It still sees carrots in it that sounds gross, but it was incredible. When I went to dinner with my wife, we got three Salsas with our chips. Two Salsa Verde?s and the same I was given for lunch. Chips their chips taste very fresh and I assume they make them fresh on site. Sauce they have a green and a red Enchilada type sauce that goes over the Burritos or Enchiladas. They make half on one side and half on the other side. It's absolutely incredible! Super complex flavors and fresh taste. Beans The beans are amazing. They are not too casual, but they are not just a mixed slop of thick chaos. You can eat with a fork, but hardly. Is there a word for beans like El Dante for noodles? So I'd explain the beans if you bite him. Not dry and crispy, but not only muddy. Without hesitation, I'll say this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. A short second would be Oscars Tacos in San Diego California and a place where I ate in Mexico. I'll give him 9 out of 10. They put this purple or red onion on some salad on the side of the plate. My Mexican neighbor makes these onions much better, so I give him 9 out of 10. I asked to press a lime and salt over my salad and it improved much. I wish these onions had a little more taste and a little more salt or something. Atmosphere when you look at the building from outside, you can expect a Batos or a Rancherito Art Restaurant, where you can go forward and order. This is not the case, however. It's a cozy restaurant. Prepare for a lack of comfortable ambience or luxury to put it politely. I don't care, and I'm not judged, but if you're a posh person you? I still think you should stand over yourself. Haha. The food is worth it, trust me. Staff The Hispanic gentleman who cooked my food both times is super nice and speaks English. He came out to talk to me both times and he's very kind. The girl who is the waitress is very kind. She is very shy and soft and has a thick accent. There was another girl in the kitchen who was friendly and gave a
I read a few of the reviews before I posted mine. Seems weird to give somebody a one-star review when you don't read the menu and you're surprised by the prices. I've been here many times including last night. My wife and I had two awesome meals with a couple appetizers and we were out the door for $42. I felt like we got a lot of food for what we paid. Every time we come here we feel like we are actually in Mexico. The food is very good and feels a lot like restaurant we have visited in Mexico. They always do a very good job with the presentation of the food. My wife commented that if they had a nicer location they could easily charge twice as much for their food. The quality of the food, the presentation, the flavor, the quantity, all of it is very very good.
No military discount. Got the full chicken. Some parts were better than other sides, little hard for me to rate only because it wasn't seasoned all around. Like the fact ot had onions, but they need to work on seasoning the whole chicken. Rice was awsome, beans were runny, tortilla was good. Over all 4 out of 5 only because it was ok. Not perfect, but ok.
This place rocks. Super friendly people and excellent food. We had the tamale special and we? very surprised how awesome it was
