I really wanted to enjoy this place. The service was excellent. Thank you Miles for your service. The food was good. I ordered the corn beef omelette with pancakes and my fiancé had the big breakfast. They were busy so we sat outside. This is where the 2 stars comes in. Seriously the best breakfast in the opposite. it is our goal if we want to eat cozy dinners and as they offer online order, we can simply do it at the weekends when the restaurant is packed!
There was a long wait to get in... But hey, when it's good, it's good! Parking is limited so be prepared! The food was cooked well and the sausage gravy was perfect! My husband and I love to come here and split the Pot O Gold breakfast. It’s huge and we still have some left over to take home. It also comes with their heavenly hot cakes which are delicious, especially with the Boysenberry syrup. ? definitely check in on the Yelp app so that you can reserve a spot in line. Most wait times are between 60-180 minutes
Chile Verde on point, everthing delicious and quick as usual. James was awesome as our server. Their online reservations are a good option for crowded weekend seating. #pennyannsdraper
This was delicious. We have heard about Penny Ann's for years, and finally tried it, and I am so glad we did! It is small and tight, but it actually does really well at feeling cozy rather than cramped. It does mean there is probably a wait though.We ordered the Pot of Gold, and the waitress recommended doing half gravy and half chili Verde. It sounded weird, but she was totally right! We also got the eggs Benedict, which were good. Both came with pancakes. The pancakes were good, but not nearly as good as the rest of the food, which surprised us.
