What ditotani doesn't like about Hwa Korean Japanese:
Rice was old, the sushi tasted funky chicken tasted borderline going bad and definitely didn’t taste like teriyakis it was not hot, Galbi flavor was good but I could tell it had some freezer burn in it. We usually finish our food but we couldn’t finish it. I was honestly afraid I was going to get sick eating it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View all feedback.

Super convenient location as it’s close to work! Food ? was pretty good and would consider coming back because of it. The service was a bit slow and only one server (as it seemed) was serving food/cleaning up tables during lunch hour on a weekday. Service can be a bit more attentive (had to come to the front and let them know we were ready to order).
We had never been here and were very happy with our choice. I got the pork katsu with mozzarella cheese in the middle it was delicious! Everyone at my table tried it and decided it was the best thing on the table. Service was phenomenal.
100% Authentic!! My wife and I lived in Korea for two years and this food tasted exactly like it did in Korea (Kimchi Jjigae Dolsot bibimbap) at a fair price. The small bowl of miso soup is very delicious and cheap so I recommend you order it regardless of what your main dish is. I even ordered 2 miso soups and 2 kimchi jjigaes to take home and eat for a late dinner and lunch today and it was fantastic We brought an unstill 2 year old but everyone was so polite and they even gave us a free dessert. The atmosphere is very relaxing with warm lighting. Will be recommending to anybody I know interested in Korea This restaurant I understand belongs to my wife's hairstylist Sumi so it was nice to know I was supporting real people instead of a faceless corporation
My only regret is that I don't live closer to order beef bulgogi or pork belly every day. ? Also, the best kimchi and sides.
