We went on Thanksgiving so we were expecting a crowd and slow service. The service was great! There was no crowd, but the food took an excessive amount of time. Our server was very conscious that we were still waiting on food for about 1.5hrs and kept checking in on us. View all feedback.
What Nonya Bizz doesn't like about Eight Settlers Distillery:
The food and service are great... and I really wanted the ambience to be as well, but sadly dissatisfied in that realm. I brought a few guests here from out of town and was thrilled when they sat us upstairs during sunset... however, the high ceilings reverberated all the loud voices and heavy chairs dragging on the floor. We could barely hear our sever and each other! Not sure why they don't seat anyone downstairs..... View all feedback.
Lovely new addition to the area. Has a prohibition vibe complete with jail cells for you to dine in. Upstairs seating has an impressive view of the Front to Downtown. Clean spot. Service with well timed and friendly. Portions were appropriate and the food quality is top-notch. I had a salad with squash and chicken, and a cup of chili... with a Season Opener cocktail. Looking forward to trying it out for dinner some night as well!
Absolutely delicious!!!! The food it?s incredible and the building is stunning!!! You pay a little more but it?s definitely worth it! There are large windows everywhere that give gorgeous views of the valley and Big Cottonwood Canyon. The upstairs dining has a retracting roof and roll away side windows for a complete outdoor experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. The distillery is excellent as well. You can buy a few bottles to take home.
Great atmosphere! Date night was a success, we sat in a private jail cell. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and seemed to know exactly when to return to our table. Everything tasted great. We had bone marrow and bread for appetizers, salad with short rib pasta and exotic venison burger with chili for entrée, and lava cake and bread pudding for dessert. I only wish I grabbed pictures of all our food. Cocktails were also on point. Overall delicious. We will visit again.
So this eatery was next to our hotel and we had been told good things about it. So we decided to try it. The decor is just awesome lots of thought went into the design and delivery of the theme and man does it work. The food was outstanding but we will try it again they were having some issues with Kitchen equipment so the menu was limited. The service was great with frequent check backs to see if we needed anything and that was good. Also love it when they have menu favorites so you can get a baseline feel for what?s good to eat. Extensive wine and bar options if your in the mood to try them. They are a functioning distillery so you can buy their brand of Spirits. If your in the Cottonwood area look them up. Well worth it.
The best new QUALITY food and drink stop around! I absolutely loved everything we ate here! We were well attended to , the menu was full of delicious options (seriously it wasn't a crazy huge menu and we still had a hard time settling on what sounded best! The braised short rib was my fave!
