What a surprise to find this family owned restaurant in Salt Lake. The place is clean, organized and the food taste was amazing. We had chicken curry and okra vegetable curry. Both dishes had a tasty ginger flavor but minus the coconut milk aftertaste. We really enjoy this place and will be back. View all feedback.
What Deepak K doesn't like about Curry In A Hurry:
This food is American, NOT Indian or Pakistani. The flavor is the curry are not good at all. Naan is literally pita bread from trader Joe's. Rice is short grain rice, nothing close to basmati. If you have never tried Indian food and want some flavors of Indian spices, then this is your place. View all feedback.
Great for a quick stop on your way home, if you don't feel like dining out.
GREAT. A bit heavy on the rice, but still fantastic curry in all flavors. Vegetables are great.
Meh- Gave it a shot, would rather spend the extra and hit Bombay house.
Turn that frown upside down : . Probably the best choice for quick cheap ish) curry in town, like SLC's local version of an Indian Panda Express. But like another reviewer said, don't expect a smile from the not-so-friendly staff at CIAH. In fact, don't even expect more than a minimal acknowledgement of your existence. The last time I went in there which was probably my 15th time or so) I came out feeling like I had walked in on a family argument. It was so unpleasant that, from now on, I think I'll be going to Ali Baba's for my quick curry needs.
Here we are in south south south lake ready to go in curry in a hurry. the name is what brought me here. I often drove from this place in my time here in salt lake city. we had only a little time to go to lunch, and we wanted all curry, and we didn't have much time. so they get where I'm going. ‘circle in a hurry’
