this is a place to splash on “Fritten Chicken” and burger and the less healthy side of vegan foods. I think it's delicious. the fried hen was very good. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and our 17-year-old had the kist and waffel. large and generous servier sizes and good friendly service. the prices are fair. I enjoyed the punk rock theme and fun names of the restaurants and the dishes. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mark Of The Beastro:
I had the spicy chkn wrap and it was messy with sauce and full of flavor just as I hoped it would be. I also really liked the “mozzarella” sticks had to try the fried hearts of palm. The breading was sooo good I ate several in the car because I couldn’t wait. The tomato sauce with them was okay, but next time I’ll sub ranch because I’m nasty like that. Next time I’m in town I hope to have time to sit and enjoy my mea... View all feedback.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! Will make sure to visit every time I visit SLC!!
First, the place looks cool. And it 's all vegan. My son wanted to check it out, so we went there in the evening, arriving about an hour before closing on a Saturday night. We seemed to be the only customers. Maybe staff was tired, but they were not exactly attentive (I don 't expect a lot, but a hi/bye is always nice) and everything seemed a little grungy, eg lukewarm water in glasses that didn 't look very clean. My food was not great, overcooked and way too greasy for me, and I picked at it. The other members of my party finished their dishes and felt ill afterwards. Beastro may feel like comfort to most people, and the ratings suggest that diners love the food, but I would not return. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-25
I have been excited to try this place since we planned our trip to SLC. First of all, the 666 theme is hilarious. All the food we tried was great, my boyfriend was obsessed with the Buffalo “chicken” wrap; I had the Beast salad which was the perfect combo of veggies and protein. The ranch dressing is also great. We also tried the fried PB&J as for some reason this had never crossed our minds as a great idea and it was melty and delicious. Also super friendly server who chatted with me about our cats!! This place blew my mind! I love that they have breakfast all day and the menu is full of delicious comfort food options. It’s a casual spot connected to a music venue where you order at the counter and seat yourself and they will bring your food to your table. They were slammed for Sunday brunch, but everything came out great. We had the chicken and waffles, animal style fries, chopped cheese, and biscuit and gravy (only available Sundays) and everything was incredible! I will dream about this place! Do not hesitate to check them out!
We ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, fried pickles, and chopped cheese at this restaurant and loved everything! The fries were seasoned with garlic, making them especially delicious. Highly recommend.
