We haven't eaten at Wild Horse in years and decided to stop last Saturday (May 11) for lunch on our way to Poteau. The restaurant is popular with the locals and was busy. I ordered the two meat dinner with medium sauce and my wife the chopped brisket sandwich. The pork rib was a pork chop with a bone attached which was OK but not flavorful. Meat was dry and had zero flavor. Service was not the best. Small selection for sides. The entire joint was janky and unappealing. Ultimately we regretted eating here and wished we stopped at Burger King instead.
A great off the beaten path BBQ restaurant. If you are traveling on interstate 40 in eastern Oklahoma it is only a couple miles south of Salisaw.
Really good BBQ. The line to place your order was out the door, but they had me served in no time.
