Thai Orchid - Salem

The staff is very rude to break and do a very bad task to check orders that are ready to pick up. are they aware of when they order from here. Sometimes we literally have to stand there and watch how you eat cold, how the personal chats or to foot with a screw speed to check on orders in the kitchen instead of going on the ready order. cannot comment on one of the foods, but I will not order from them how insecure they are with their costumes.

Amazing food! been going to this place for years and always love it. Only complaint is Thai ice tea needs to come in an XXL cup... Always left wanting more lol

I have removed my original 1 star review and replaced it with the following: I have been going to Thai orchidee for years and have found it so that I am consistent and always good. a few days ago I was waiting in an emergency vest clinic on the parking lot for hours. I was very hungry and I couldn't go, so I ordered the delivery. when I got the food, I had nothing to eat with it (removed to utensils) and my hands were not clean enough to eat with. I called thai orchid immediately and I was told a manager would call me back. I didn't hear back in that night and I didn't get my $35 delivery meal for one to eat. it was a very bad day that did not end until 12:30. skipping to today: the owner tana called me after I had received my number from uber, because my info didn't do it otherwise. he had excellent customer service skills that I did not expect (especially after reading so many reviews here. I make a lot of customers call me back as superior and I have to admit that I am a hard customer. I'm critical if I don't feel heard and I expect there's an attempt to make a situation that's right. I am, however, not unrealistic in what can be offered to a customer if I do that right. tana impressed me with his professionalism, interest in learning from this situation and asked me what he can do to make the right. he offered a refund and another meal in the hope not to lose my business. I came into our conversation, provided there was nothing he would do for me, but I was wrong. I am sure that I will be back in the future to Thai orchideee, but I will not need to use the free meal he had offered up on the refund. the times are hard and the personal is a fight. I'm grateful he offered it!

I don’t normally leave reviews if I’ve had a bad experience, but the way that I was treated tonight after spending 50.00 on a meal was unacceptable. Once we got home, we realized that we had the wrong order. I had ordered two orders of chicken pad Thai, one regular and one with extra chicken and pineapple and also an order of pineapple rice. I received chicken satay instead of the original chicken pad Thai. I called and the lady that I spoke to told me that it was my fault that I got the wrong order! She said she repeats the orders three times so there is no way that it was her fault. Nobody ever repeats the order three times! She then went on to say that she was not going to give me a free meal because it was my fault. I proceeded to tell her that I wouldn’t order chicken satay because I didn’t even know what it is and that I’m not looking for a free meal but to be compensated for the item I didn’t order. She then hung up on me! I really love their food but I will not be going back if I have to deal with people like her!?
