Sisters Irish Bistro - Salem

Funny story. my daughter brought me here to Mother's Day. I have tried several different versions of shepards cake over the years, but decided to try sisters recipe. I said to my daughter that this was the last time I would ever try another hotcake. No, I don't like it. 1 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1.) to many. I still give sisters 5 stars because the staff was very on earth, although the place was full. the live music was very cool. we enjoyed it. I'll order something else next time.

Delicious traditional Irish food and drinks! Great service and fun Irish music. I got the corned beef and cabbage with carrots and mashed potatoes. Perfectly cooked to just melt in your mouth. We are from out of town but will stop here next time we come through Salem.

Solid Irish-fusion menu…had the Corned Beef Egg Rolls and the Bantry Secret. Both were flavorful, and the Egg Rolls quite good, but the Bantry was super oily.The main knock was the service. We were the only ones there to start, and the service still took a solid half-hour to get the entrees. Add into this a server who struggled with any alterations to the basic menu and a co-worker sighing and dropping their shoulders when more guests entered, and it really made for an uninviting experience.

Service was below standards for the pricing. Something as simple as asking for an extra napkin shouldn’t need to be anything more than that. Not every customer appreciates a snide remark. Maybe I came in at the end of a busy day?Maybe other reviews feel the same way about poor server-customer experiences here? This is the first restaurant I haven’t tipped in years. I know it’s rough receiving a low rating, but your chef’s work ethic saved you from getting a one-star rating from me. Two stars for the chef who’s pulling his weight and then some!

AMAZING! I contacted them the week of St. Paddys day to set up catering for the following week. They were quick and accommodating even in the midst of a busy time for their business. It was super simple to read their menu, choose my options and discuss payment. They even threw in some additional servings for free! The food came hot and delicious and plenty! Our hotel enjoyed a very special meeting with the help of Sisters and I recommend them ten fold! Can't wait to go check them out in their restaurant and get the whole vibe! Great job and thank you!?
