Contribute FeedbackWe stayed at the hotel du casino and went to our first night to an evening meal in their restaurant. it opened in it was a welcoming place with natural decor and had a beautiful ambiente. we received friendly and professional service for. all employees. we chose both two pommeau as our aperitifs that came with free tasty nibbelns. we chose four cursor from the euro. for beginners we had tempura gambas with apple cutney, for the main thing a bouillabaisse and a sheperds pie, then camembert packages with dressed salat and for dessert crème brulee. we had wonderful experience trying out the different dishes. we had a good bottle of cote du rhone red wine and finished our meals with coffee and calvados. overall we had delicious food and excellent service. also the prices for food and drinks were good. we can recommend this restaurant.
Decided to treat ourselves last night of a sailing holiday on my yacht and walked into Hotel earlier in the day.It was recommended to book a table to secure a table-despite it being mid week and late October. On arrival when doors opened at tables well spaced and welcomed by attentive manager and numerous young waiters. Everybody who sat down were in casual clothes-most being business people. Choice of menus-could have chosen a la carte if one wished. We both settled on the Euro for a course set menu-with multi choices. The food served up was not only beautifully presented but the portions were generous in this day and age of nouveau cuisine with morsel of food scattered around the plates!! Starter was fish pate-and melted in ones mouth plus so fresh and delicate flavours. The main course was superb and the salmon melted in ones mouth-it was so fresh again. Dessert was an amazing slab of slate with different puddings on and a coffee. Staff were excellent and well directed by the manager. By the time we had finished the restaurant was full-all bar a couple of tables-which could easily have been reserved for later arrivals. The Hotel also owns-runs The Casino on seafront at St. Valery-en-Caux;we did pop in and restaurant looked equally well run and supported.
I enjoyed the service and the quality of the food I did not feel rushed without the service being slow.
The location of the restaurant is rather peculiar in the same building as the casino and cinema. However, it can be intimate enough and they must choose the end tables from the top floor they offer great view and pleasant sounds of the...Wells roll on the pebble beach. great to dinner!
My friend and I chose the euro menu that was delicious, well cooked and presented. a glass wee for euro was more than reasonable. I have given these four stars because the restaurant itself was a bit utilitarian, but who cares if. good food is served!
