That was a great recommendation. Really amazing space. Good prices and easy to read menu. I love Nashville style chicken and this place crushes the spicy chicken game. The JBs stand, we are delicious and my wife got the cheeses and I was jealous!! Enjoy the Coke Zero option on the Soda Fountain. We beat the food. Our food was served in less than 5 minutes, which was quite crazy. Definitely a place to eat when visitin... View all feedback.

Place your order inside and wait to be served. Chicken prepared several ways, corn and brussels sprout sides served on paper trays. Nothing really exceptional to make may return quickly. View all feedback.
Tried for the first time. It was very pricey for what we got. We got a 1/2 lb fried shrimp meal that came with two sides. The Mac n cheese was not tasty. It was watery tasting and not cheesy. The tots were cooked over done. When I stuck a fork in to dip in ketchup it crumbled because there wasn’t much left on the inside. They were very hard to chew. We also had a grilled chicken sandwich with pimento that came with a side which we got another Mac n cheese watery. I do have to say the fried shrimp was very tasty that’s why I give 3 stars. For 3 teas, one 1/2 lb fried shrimp meal that came with 2 sides, and a grilled chicken pimento sandwich that came with one side was over $40. For what we were served it was way overpriced. They were very friendly when we ordered. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table.
I’m from South Carolina and we fry our chicken crisp and the chicken here was very crispy and moist. Love the heat levels you can try. The collards were spicy an delicious and the Mac and cheese. Must try corn on the cob. The atmosphere was nice.
Q: How do you know a restaurant is good?A: You go back the next day and order the same thing again. Our family stopped by Porch for dinner last night. Sat on the porch enjoyed delicious food and a cool breeze from the rain. The Motherclucker was fantastic! The second time we ordered it, there was less pimento cheese this definitely makes the sandwich. Fries are great. Mac cheese is really good. The fried chicken was killer so moist.Ok, so let's talk about heat. They have a few different levels of spice. Naked (no spice), Novice (spicy), Nashville (hottest Nashville I've had), and Napalm (didn't try it, but I'd be scared to) the Novice was great. The first time we had Novice, it was hot like typical Nashville hot. However, today, Novice wasn't bad. Spicy, but not super spicy. My wife got the catfish tacos and she loved them. The fried catfish was delicious breading was on point.Definitely worth a meal here if you are on St. Simons. ? ? Kid friendliness: It's a chicken place with Mac and cheese.... Enough said.Parking: Some parking. But walking distance from our Air BNB

The Porch keeps it simple. Not a lot of menu options chicken, catfish, or shrimp, salads, and sides. There is a ton of outdoor seating and a little bit of indoor seating. They have different specials every day so check them out in advance. Members of our party had chicken and shrimp with various levels of heat. There are four, and from our experience, we suggest you don 't overdo it. Go naked or novice. The Nashville is pretty spicy, and no one dared the napalm. The cheese grits side was exceptionally good. We ate cheese grits in one form or another all week at SSI, and these were the best. One member of our party was debating between the catfish (frozen) and shrimp (local and fresh). He went with the shrimp because he is a fresh snob, but the server brought him a piece of catfish to try so he would know for next time. That was very thoughtful, and now he knows to make the same choice when he comes back, which he will.
