back to Saint Quentin and a nice visit to Madame Julian. reception always as pleasant, attentive and caring. The shop dresses for Christmas, and it's really great. a magical cave that I advise to visit quietly because there are so many beautiful things to discover. Don't change anything! It's a place that makes good in the heart. View all feedback.

Very beautiful decorative objects and gift ideas in a pleasant shop run by a real and friendly shopkeeper.
This place is MAGICAL. Sabine (the owner) is south a great person. She cooked for us and recommended what to eat! Her store is beautiful!!!
L'effet Rêve is a small shop tea room which has signs stating that everything on the premises is for sale. That includes the table you sit at, the crockery and cutlery you use to the delightful items of decor decorating the quaint premises. There are only a handful of tables and chairs and the menu is limited but the food was fresh and tasty. St Quentin La Poterie is a delightful village just 5 kilometers from Uzes and if you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit. So too, L'effet Reve. You can just browse the shop, have a cup of tea or coffee or indeed lunch.
Dropped by on the off chance and, yes, there was our favourite, a dish of figs with gorgonzola and Bayonne ham. Simply lovely. It,s a shop offering light lunches. The furniture and artefacts are all for sale. It's romantic/rustic in style. At least it has a strong identity and you know you're in France.! The owner is an enthusiastic cheerful lady. A very nice place to be for a light lunch.

On arrival it turned out that our booking had not been written down, but they recongnised us and apologised. This meant that the restaurent was overbooked and we were crampled up a corner. Food was average but service was very slow as there was not enough staff to cope with the numbers of tables as it was booking only then extra staff should have been employed. Probably better place to visit out of season.
