What Dave R doesn't like about Le Relais De Gascogne:
It felt like everyone in Bordeaux stops here to eat. Locals, truck drivers, tourists. It's attractive for a roadside restaurant, with several rooms and outdoor decks (the shaded deck was perfect for our September lunch). The three course meal including wine and coffee was excellent for 14 euros. We had the seafood cassoulet, which was really a bowl of seafood (mostly mussels) in a tomato sauce. Delicious. Service was quick..food was good.. and the staff was pleasant though on a busy road... the restaurant was not noisy..we were outside and plenty of little trees...
