I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and I’m a little obsessed with it. I asked my phone for recommendations for French toast, and while some familiar spots came up, I decided to try something new instead. The exterior of the building may look a bit worn with a sign that has seen better days, but once you notice the charming outdoor garden with tables, it's clear that this place has character. Bland Food and bad Coffee Even for a Diner You can usually gauge how blasé the food is going to be by how many elderly, white-haired people are dining there. And this was no exception to the rule. The grits tasted like nothing and were somehow both over cooked and still had uncooked pieces. The sausage gravy was a warm, flavorless, flour mash. We love this place! Directly at the house and always good service
I had never been before today and I'm a little mad about it. I just asked my phone for French toast- hubby's fave- and a few of our usual haunts showed up, but those was a quick drive, so hey, let's try something new. From the outside, the place is unassuming with a sign that has seen better days, but then you notice the cute outside garden area with tables. Walking in, the place is clean, and fresh looking. The staff was quick and friendly. Can we talk about the serving sizes? Massive. The price can't be beat. Definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go back for lunch. The meatloaf open-faced sandwich is calling my name.
Okay?. May be some of the best eggs Benedict I?ve had. The hollandaise sauce is fire. Served with ripe avocado and fresh bacon. Prompt and friendly service. They keep the coffee hot and topped off. Thanks for the delicious welcome to the sunshine state!
So blurling tasty items worth every penny parts are huge prices fair and the feeling in the air in the restaurant is warm and welcoming. totally recommended!
Great place for breakfast with service. The country fried steak was very good. If you like fresh air the outside eating area on the east side of the restaurant is a nice option. Edit: went back and ate in the outside area with the dogs. The waiter even had some treats form the pups
