Definitely a 5 star place! However, not my personal favorite. Vibe is great, decor is calm and chill! Employees are cool. I thought the espresso is super bitter and they don't have coconut milk, and the Almond milk has sugar. Definitely worth going to just not my favorite experienceDietary restrictions: Not great options for dietary restrictions View all feedback.
What Kelly Mahaney doesn't like about Grove Surf Coffee Coffee St. Pete Beach:
Order was wrong. Coffee grinds, wrong muffin and in paper cups instead of too stay. On top of that coffee was more milk than coffee hence extreme washed out flavour. When asked for correction server rolled her eyes. This was not worth an automatic 18% tip. Do not recommend. RESPONSE INAPPROPRIATE. Coffee that was corrected had grounds and washed out flavour. Not to mention the eye roll from server when asked to corre... View all feedback.
I’d choose this place any day over Starbucks! The true meaning of a coffee shop. A little neat surf wear products in there as well. Friendly staff upon entering. The young lady taking our order was super friendly and very polite. She gave us good recommendations.
Staff was welcoming and attentive. They also have a selection of bakery items which were just okay, not anything to write home about. However, I was truly disappointed with the coffee itself. I ordered a Flat White, and it seemed like it was steamed too much, giving it a burned taste. While the atmosphere and service were great, the main reason I visit a coffee shop is for the coffee, and unfortunately, this place missed the mark on that front.
Great place for coffee! Has a little retail shop as well. Friendly service and tasty drinks. The spiced vanilla latte was delicious. Also had the strawberry pop tart.
I’m a local and this is one of my favorite places to stop on the way to the beach. Who doesn’t love a great coffee plus some beach shopping?! I love their toasted coconut latte. It’s the perfect mix of coffee/coconut. Whoever mentioned just “tasted regular” needs to have their taste buds checked because it’s always delicious with plenty of flavor. Their pastries are also to die for. You can go with a savory spinach/feta croissant which is heavenly or something sweet like their key lime pie muffin! I don’t think I’ve found anything like what they offer in town, very unique! Always great customer service even when they’re busy. The quality of shopping offered is very upscale compared to your basic souvenir beach shops in the area. All around a great vibe and definitely somewhere you should stop and check out!
This a cute small cafe to hangout with friends, meet for a coffee and also do some shopping. Yes, they have a collection of clothes and accessories from local vendors that they sell here. The menu looks refreshing but their coffee is okay. We ordered a toasted coconut latte and it tasted like regular coffee. Nothing too special. Just a fancy glass with bunch of regular ingredients.
