Very frustrating. My smothered burrito would be better left unsmothered for takeout with the sauces on the side for dipping since the smothering doesn't lend itself to being eaten in the car or on the go. Interestingly and annoyingly with this meal no cutlery was offered.
Sometimes you can just do too much to food where it loses it's authentic taste. One task of ordering your food is you need to read the board before you read the menu because what's on the menu is not correct it's what's on the board which changed daily as explained to us. The virgin **** Mary was one that I hadnt tasted (really good) in a long time. We were not told about the special but we were informed of the rolls that had just come out the oven The food is plentiful but for the price of food and tight space and long wait sometimes you just want a good old fashioned breakfast without all the frills n this ain't the place for that. Oddly enough by the time our food did get there we had no silverware to eat with so we had to wait for service for that as well. Considering that the surcharge of 20% is already added we've concluded that this particular business wants a specific clientele.
Looking for a unique brunch spot in St Paul? This is your jam. With the menu nod to local history (pig's eye) this place is sweet and savory. The perfect spot!

Super friendly staff and a great menu! Decor was a fun blend of classic and modern. The hot sauces and flavors run a little sweet, but the flavor is spot on. Had some nice biscuits and gravy, which benefitted from the pickled onions, and huevos rancheros! Num!
