I had a delicious chai latte made with soy milk! The staff were very friendly. Just a heads up, the regular coffee is extremely hot, so be cautious when drinking it. However, the Ethiopian drip coffee has a light, beer-like flavor that even non-coffee drinkers might enjoy! Wow a hipster coffee shop that doesn't deliberately serve sour disgusting coffee! I'm tempted to give more stars just because this is so uncommon. But NOBODY should be deliberately serving sour disgusting coffee so I've got to maintain perspective. I wanted a half-caf cold press but they don't offer decaf cold press. (Why not? Stopped by for the first time over the weekend. Friendly folks, delicious coffee! My only sadness is that Roots doesn't open until 8am I can't stop in on my way to work!

I’ve been coming here for a while and really enjoy the whole experience. The staff is always great, Marc Heu pastry (best pastries in the cities), and obviously good coffee. They have a good selection of brew gear as well. If you’re looking to buy beans they have a great selection, but my only critique would be that most roasts run darker than advertised.
The folks behind the counter are always delightful and the coffee is great. It's nice to have the option to sit outside in warmer weather. Inside space is metro-chic clean and not too big not too small.
This place is adorable! The man working did an awesome job explaining drinks. The signs and information about the coffee around the shop are super informative and eye-catching. A cute little shop! 10/10 will be returning.
