This restaurant is a longtime favorite of ours whenever we're in Minnesota. We've been coming here for several years now. What User doesn't like about R J Riches Family:
Easy to get to, free parking, good diner breakfast. No fresh fruit on your French toast only fruit syrups available. The cinnamon butter is tasty and the hash browns are crispy and buttery. Decent sized booths that have seen many a local, as dents have been made in the cushions. Breakfast for 2 was $38 before tip. Large portions give you your money's worth. Small entry where you can wait for your table. View all feedback.

They have recently updated the lighting and flooring, but the benches are still uncomfortable. However, the wait is never too long. The food is consistently delicious and the portion sizes are generous. I ordered a side of bacon and received six pieces for the price of three. My son also received a large portion of bacon. The blueberry cake he ordered was the size of a dinner plate. I opted for the French toast, which was tasty. There is usually a wait to be seated, but we were seated immediately today. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I will definitely return to try more items on their menu. The portion sizes are very generous! I particularly enjoyed the eggs Benedict and the roasted steak. Can't wait to go back again.
During my second visit, everything was good. I ordered the beef senior dinner, which came with a salad or soup. The service was quick and friendly, and the total cost was $10.
Had to wait for a few minutes to sit, but it was WORTH IT! Food came in time, fresh and hot! This place goes against doctors orders to eat too much for a person! But it was the best I felt to leave a restaurant in a long time! It was worth it!
