A great local meeting place. A much more beautiful atmosphere than I expected it was so close to a college. Large beer selection and a good selection of American cuisine. Perfect place to eat before you see a show at The Fox or St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. View all feedback.

The food wasn't good. The only thing that was spiced was the fries that had extra salt on them. The big finale is that they have an angry bull of a manager who screams from behind and other paying customers interrupt meals after the whole table doesn't like the food? He asked to know what was wrong with the food, and before we could tell him that he began to go as he does?t care, what is not with the food and he does... View all feedback.
BBQ Brisket Sandwich and Pommes. The super delicate brisket has been covered with a beautiful, slightly sweet Tangy-Koleslaw and BBQ sauce. The pommes were hot, crispy and salted. I also had the mixed green salad with Provel cheese and everything on it was fresh. Very good service.
Eating is really serious. I just give them four? You never know when they are open. I cried at 8:04 to order a burgerries and the kitchen was closed. Call 9:00 and it's open. No rhyme or reason. But if the kitchen is open, the food is really good.
I want to love this place and sometimes I do but other times I feel like an inconvenience. Unfortunately their posted hours don?t seem to mean much, and they tend to close whenever they feel like it. I?ve asked about it and their answer is that they?re understaffed. I can understand that, but don?t understand why they don?t update their posted hours. For example, today they closed two hours early, and about 6 weeks ago they closed three hours early. I?ve had a few other experiences where I?ve been turned away or given my check well before closing time prior to these visits as well. This place is in my neighborhood, has good food and is a great place to catch a game, but it?s a gamble if they?ll be open or if you?ll get to finish watching the game.
The rudest bartender I?ve ever witnessed at a bar! Let him know too so this is the Mint Julep I got in return! Just for asking for a table near a TV to watch the Kentucky Derby! First time here after a 7 1/2 drive, so didn?t know! Full of ice 3/4 full! Jerk!
We had a great experience at this restaurant! Excellent food, really cool memorabilia decor, and excellent hospitality! Thank you so much for the care to provide me a gluten free meal. On our travels from AZ to enjoy a Blues hockey game.
